Welcome to North Shore Osteopathic Healthcare!

At North Shore Osteopathic Healthcare (NOH) we treat the patient as a whole and focus on finding the health in the individual, rather than the disease. Our providers will take the time to get to know you and your concerns. NOH’s medical model is based on Family Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM), Nutrition and Complementary and Alternative (CAM) therapies. With this comprehensive and integrative approach, you can create a healthier and more balanced life.

On July 1st, 2016, I purchased Dr. Elvove’s practice.  After working for him for the last 5 years, I gained an appreciation for both his patient population and practice style.  It is not typical these days to find a holistic practice like Dr. Elvove’s.  Much of the current medical model has become technologically driven and encounters with providers feel rushed or strained.  It was nice to see a more laid-back approach to healthcare that remained comprehensive and attentive to patient needs.  It was a natural progression for me to take over.

I am looking forward to both carrying on the tradition of Dr. Elvove and modernizing certain aspects of the current practice model.  While continuing all the same services, several new services will be offered and other changes will occur.

First off, I am an Osteopathic physician with training in Cranial Osteopathy.  Osteopaths use this gentle, hands-on therapy, for treating a wide variety of medical conditions, including a migraine headache, post-concussion syndrome, infant colic, sports injuries, and many other conditions.  I encourage all of my patients to learn about the benefits of Osteopathic Manipulation Therapy and especially, Cranial Osteopathy.  There is a great deal of information on a variety of complementary and alternative therapies on this website.  We can also discuss different treatment options one on one.  Also, you can find information on cranial osteopathy in the office and you can learn more at cranialacademy.org.

Listed below are some of the additional changes the practice can look forward to in coming months.

  • The practice will adopt the use of an online patient portal, to which you can log in, send messages, see lab results, and obtain medical records and other care-related documents.
  • I have interest in treating difficult, chronic medical conditions, including Autoimmune disorders, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Candida overgrowth, and Lyme disease.  I will provide additional testing through Great Plains and Spectracell laboratories to test for nutrient deficiencies and other factors to aid in the treatment of these conditions.
  • I will be expanding the high-quality supplement line to include products that improve inflammation and support detoxification, such as Curcumin and Chlorella.
  • A nurse practitioner will be joining the staff.  She will be helping me to see patients.  We will be able to increase the clinic hours and increase the availability of appointments.
  • We will also be offering IV therapies along with comprehensive allergy testing and treatment.

Patients should make sure to visit and like the office facebook page to stay updated when I link to an informative health related article.  Also, patients will receive practice updates and articles through Constant Contact.  New patients can be added directly to Constant Contact below.
